HMBS is classified as a transitional saga literary work. As with saga writing in general, HMBS is written using Classical Malay which is still visible in its oral variety, for example in the use of long sentences, the use of language styles, and the use of figures of speech. Data were obtained through literature studies and analyzed using qualitative methods with descriptive analysis techniques (Ratna, 2011: 53). Moving on from the results of the analysis, it can be seen that HMBS tends to be written using a language style with a long sentence structure, so that the variety of speech is quite obvious. To support this language style, a number of figures of speech are used, including turgid, antithesis, simile, hyperbole, litotes, personification, and repetition. The use of these figures of speech serves to maximize the aesthetic quality of HMBS UR - https://ojs.pnb.ac.id/index.php/Proceedings/article/view?path=
