Abstract

The implementation of construction projects has the potential to have a negative impact
on the environment. Likewise, the existing construction projects in Badung Regency. Construction
business actors in Badung Regency are at least obliged to apply the Green Construction concept
(environmentally friendly). However, in its application, of course many obstacles will be
encountered. Therefore, a study was conducted to determine the level and constraints of
implementing Green Construction and overcoming these obstacles. The method used in this
research is to use a questionnaire regarding the level of implementation and the constraints of
implementing Green Construction to find data that is distributed to 10 tourism accommodation
projects in North Kuta District, Badung Regency with a total of 30 respondents then processed
using the SPSS and Ms. Excel. The level of application of Green Construction is calculated using
a percentage of the respondents' answers, the constraints for implementing Green Construction
are sought using the Relative Index (RI) calculation, overcoming the application constraints
sought by interviews with respondents. The results obtained are that the application of Green
Construction has a very low rate: 13%, low: 35%, high: 40%, very high: 12%. The main obstacle
in its application is the regulatory factors and solutions / countermeasures that can be provided
are by making or developing rules and guidelines regarding the implementation of Green
Construction.
