Abstract

The embankment slope on Jombang-Mojokerto double-track construction KM 60 + 900 to 61 + 000 are
located above field clay soil. This type of soil tends to be soft and has the potency of landslides when
there are embankment and train passing loads on it. The stability of the embankment slope against
landslides is measured by the size of the slope safety value of the embankment. One type of embankment
slope reinforcement is geotextiles reinforcement. The data that will be used soil reinforcement design
using geotextiles are the moment of landslide resistance, the magnitude of the sliding radius (R) of a
slope, and the coordinates of the landslide center point. Based on the results of the XSTABL analysis, the
safety factor (SF) of embankment slopes in the Double Track project of Mojokerto Jombang KM 60 +
900 to 61 + 000 is 0.892, the radius of the landslide is 16.55 meters. To achieve the safety factor of 1.5, it
takes 5 layers of Geotextile for reinforcement with. The tensile strength specification of the geotextile is
400 kN/m
