Abstract

The method of implementing a construction at this time has been developing rapidly, where the current
construction industry is not enough to only focus on the strength and stability of the structure, but also very
concerned with the economic, practical or ease of implementation and timeliness. The use of precast
concrete in the structural design of a building is one alternative to achieve this. However, at the time of the
fabrication and installation process at the location there are several stages of work and the implementation
of concrete components that need to be observed to comply with concrete regulations. This study aims to
determine the suitability of the method of implementation of precast beam construction in the field, starting
from the implementation of beam components, as well as the joins between beams and columns with
applicable concrete regulations. This research was conducted by comparing the results of direct
observations and the precast beam method of the project with the applicable concrete regulations. In
general, the results of the review are in accordance with the applicable concrete regulations, starting from
the machining work to the connection between the beam and the column, but there are implementation
components that are not appropriate, namely the length of the hook on the reinforcement and the time of
concrete treatment. Where the bending hook length is 90 ° for the bottom principal reinforcement has a
hook length <12db, the bending hook length is 135 ° for the base reinforcement reinforcement and the field
has a hook length <6db, the bending rod reinforcement length 135 ° has a hook length <6db, beam support
distance > ℓn/180 but less than 75 mm and the beam maintenance time is only done for 3 days
